10 Conservative MPs and Peers express support for Israel on CFI delegation.

CFI’s first parliamentary delegation to Israel of 2026 included high-level security briefings, political meetings at the Knesset; and visits to Israel’s northern and southern borders. 10 Conservative MPs and Peers joined the visit, including Greg Smith MP, Paul Holmes MP, Gareth Bacon MP and newly elected MPs Sarah Bool MP and Peter Fortune MP – both visiting Israel for the first time.

The group was briefed by U.S. Lt Gen Patrick Frank at the Civil-Military Coordination Center in Kiryat Gat on the multinational efforts to implement President Trump’s peace plan.

The delegation also visited Kfar Aza and the site of the Nova Music Festival to bear witness to the atrocities of 7th October 2023. The visit included meetings with Palestinians in Ramallah and a diplomatic briefing from the British Ambassador to Israel, Simon Walters.

The Conservative MPs and Peers raised concerns about the Labour Government’s policies and underlined that the Conservative Party stands with Israel. Watch the MPs reflect on the visit here.
