For over 50 years, Conservative Friends of Israel (CFI) has played a key role in strengthening the bilateral relationship between the UK and Israel. CFI works to build mutual understanding and friendship between the Conservative Party and Israel’s diverse political landscape.

Dedicated to ensuring Israel’s case is fairly represented in Parliament, CFI organises delegations to Israel for Conservative parliamentarians and candidates, hosts briefing events and provides accurate, timely information on developments in the Middle East. CFI educates and informs Conservative politicians and their advisers, enabling them to address constituent inquiries and contribute fact-based balance to parliamentary debates.

Built on shared democratic values, the UK-Israel partnership is vital to Britain’s security, prosperity, and global interests. Israel stands out as a beacon of tolerance and equality in the Middle East, where Jews and Arabs live alongside one another in a vibrant and diverse society. For Conservatives, standing with Israel means supporting a democratic ally and championing the Jewish people’s right to self-determination in their historic homeland.
